Animanga's Chrno Crusade Tv Review

I don't think you'd ever find a story more original than CC, how Daisuke Moriyama thought it up is a mystery to me. In fact, how it differentiates to other Animes in one of its best points.
And humour? CC can be hilarious at times depending on your sense of humour. Some jokes may be a little sick, especially if they concern Elder, but even Elders pervertedness can be funny. And never fear, even after a string of serious episodes there is always an insanely silly one to re-lighten the mood. This is a fun anime to watch that puts you through a truck load of emotions especially as the story progresses.

Quote by animangaHi, I was hoping I could ask a stupid question. ^_^' I recently switched to Illlustrator for line art and I was wondering if there's any special way you keep your lines so smooth and so thin. Even on 2 pt I still get really artifacted looking areas. Thanks! :)

Oh gawd ^^ Sorry for the late reply

Anyways, about the matter you ask me. Hmm.. I honestly don't know how I do it. I just did it a normal way, and they become like that. For the thin ones, I actually used 1pt.. but recently, I used 2pt.. coz 1pt lines actually more jagged than 2pt. Hopefully that helps ^^

Ouch, Well It didn't bothered me since I already studied for both, it was a pain but I did it anyway.
Oh.. My mum usually asked me what I want. But Since I don't live with my parents since a few years back, they don't really get to bring me presents.

I don't use stroke path, I use the line tool in Adobe Illustrator. I know shape layers give more character (I do add some to the Ai lines) but I'm just too lazy. >_<
Yeah I hate the window too but every time I touched it it got worse so I stopped trying. XD
And there's light overlayed on the far left edge of both the characters and the curtain, but you could probably only tell if you saw it removed.
But yeah, I agree with everything you said. Thanks for the comment. :)

ermmmm i swear i replied to this? i feel like i'm just repeating myself now >_> though i think you have alot of potential so i just wanted to address a few of the points you made. lol this is going to sound obnoxious but here it goes ^^;

the line took in illustrator is essentially the same thing as stroke paths. i know shape layers are a pain in the a-- but, unfortunately, i think if you want to be serious about walling (lol SERIOUS about walling? sounds so ominous) you should really take on the challenge--trust me, once you start doing line art with shape layers, you'll never want to do anything else >D

there are two main issues with the window: 1) its not drawn right, there should be a diagonal line in the inside of the corners, the lines shouldnt be overlapping if that makes any sense. additionally, you need to move the bottom lines closer to the middle lines--this will make it seem like the window bars are parallel to the ground, rather than in incorrect perspective. 2) the color is off--its just white which doesnt look the best with the surroundings. this is a less minor problem though

and actually, i did see the light coming from the side, but it didnt look like it was really coming from anywhere, except maybe the window. regardless of whether you wanted to emphasize that the light is coming from the window, the faces are still too dark for comfort. i know its realistic in a dark room for people's faces not to be lit, from an aesthetic and walling point of view, the focus of the wall should (normally) be on their faces. without having them lit the wall just looks dark and you arent emphasizing the center object--if you've ever seen fashion magazine spreads where its a "dark" atmosphere, you will notice that the model's face is still lit.

alot of people make faces darker because they think that makes it look like people are in the dark, but there are other ways of keeping their faces lighter but still making it look like they are in the dark. the skin tone, for one, should be more blue in dark rooms, and paler. but still, remember to keep them lighter. sometimes people also make the faces darker because they cant make the shadows fit the faces--this can be remedied by putting more shadows where they are needed--you paint so this should be relatively easy. aka you can make their faces look darker but still keep the focus there if you make the shadows on their faces deeper, but keep the highlights pale+lighter.

lol i dont want to be like lecturing you but i think your walls would improve alot if you paid specific attention to the lineart point and the light point--both of them i think are among the top 5 characteristics of what make great walls great >D

happy walling! and i hope to see something from you in the near future

I thought there might be a mistake I mean there's a loooong time till next April xD
Well, good luck and make sure to study ^^

They can do it sice they're not national exams or anything. There was a misunderstanding with the dates, and becuase of that there were two exams in the same day For our class to take wich is not allowed. So they had to pospone one.

Yeah. that's true, well it's how things naturaly go. At least we get presents XD
