have you not done anything for NCEA yet? I've had...at least 10 internals

Getting credits is fun. Oo, I'm

miss one lunch. <3 Choir is after school on the other day. Though once it's
finished, I have five minutes to stuff my lunch down my throat and then go do
P.E! Worst coincidence ever. I'm at
an all girls school and have no place to meet boys, I'm pretty screwed until I
get to university. Though, I'm probably going to the D&A once I leave school. So, crude

well, gay friends are awesome. <3 I try to buy my anime legally instead of
watching it online, so right now all my money's going on Death Note anime and
YuugiOu manga. I love them. <3 Though I did watch the first season of 'Higurashi
no Naku Koro ni' on youtube, because it isn't available outside Japan. D: And
now that I've dealt with the horrors of how YuugiOu was dubbed, it's thrown me
off ALL English dubbing. I watch
all my anime in Japanese with subtitles now. (One
day I won't NEED the subtitles! Bwa ha ha. >3) I read quite a bit of the
Tsubasa manga, but I got bored for some reason. I
want to see the anime though. If I ever have lots of money one day I'll get the
box set that's out. Oh, I
LOVE OneRepublic. And
Fall Out Boy. <3 What about you? Any
other anime/manga you're into at the moment?
Hello Sakura-chan!
I'm doing great! *hugs* Thanks! Hope your doing well too after all your hard
work!
Congrats on your project, that's awesome that you got through it! I'm sure you
did a great job.
Oh gosh, I love it! It's

Hehe, thanks!

it was this one time that they mentioned they were from American Idol after the

Sorry I didn't take better care of FW. I'm really slow at doing the codes for the features but I've been trying to
update new members and the group gallery. Plus
I've been really busy and tired...Highschool.
Good luck! *Hugs*
I think they got all the best singers, then held another audition with the
people that got through to see who could act the best. But I did get the feeling
that some of the best singers didn't get through because they weren't
as...aesthetically pleasing, as the school would have liked.
But I don't know what the Hell was going
on at the audition my friend was at. When
she told me she was the lead I should have congratulated her but I didn't really
say anything, I was too busy trying not to say "WTF?" in front of her.
That is one major YOU SUCK to recieve! Considering they probably dished out
extra money just to hire professionals. But if
people usually got in because they were pitied and not because they had real
talent, then I guess they wanted something to be really exceptional.

Wow! That would be enough encouragement to get you to the end week. And
it's cool that your friends want to go, do they know it or are they just

The concept of a fan-boy is kind of
freaky - girls, sure but...guys aren't meant to care that much about something.
Bad acting...not good.
But I guess it's better than bad singing - you can just shut your eyes during
bad acting, but you can't block out the sound
that's telling the story.

That's the problem; it's hard to get someone who's good at both singing and acting - anyone who is is probably
ridiculously faous already and only performs in major productions.
What was the problem with her acting? Not really knowing how to act and overacting?
Quote: In other news I hear they

In such a heavy acting roll I could understand overacting, but I don't see how
someone could act deadpan with all those emotions going on.
I heard a great song on the radio the other day (can't remeber what it was ) and
when they read out the artists name they said that they were from American Idol
or something. I found that quite surprising. So
yeah, great performers can be found by talent shows, but...Australia.
When you're born in New Zealand you have the dislike of Australia ingrained in
your culture. And their accents are nasty!
Ugh, does NOT help with their singing voice if it somes through.
And my computer dislikes me so the

I remember her, she actually has a
really good voice. Which is unusual, considering most of the winners from any
country's 'Idol' get dropped quickly. I think
once an artist that wins is out on their own without the grandeur of being on TV
people realise they're not actually that great. Or they turn out to be really
bad songwriters, 'cause on the show they were singing other peoples' songs.
I think the singer was only a finalist and not the winner...and male. The
finalists usually end up with better careers than the winners.
I think every medication carries a risk for everything, but it's usually a risk of some really tiny
percentage. They just have to stick it in the warnings list so you don't sue
them.
I probably liked the first singer best, her voice was...younger, is the only
word I can think of. Clearer, or something to that effect. Though I did like the
second singer's voice - just not as much with this song.
Our school announced that it's doing several senior productions this year -
though our school has a tendency to create its own musicals.

Quote: How do those turn
out?
I saw a DVD of the production they did when I first started at the school. It
was a storyline built around classic eighties songs they sang at appropriate
moments. The dancing and staging was really good, as were the song choices
because they're better suited to younger voices, appealing to them, and they
already know half of them anyway. Most of the cast don't actually sing though
(lessons, choirs - whatever) and so they didn't really sing with their full
voices. Kind of like they held back because they were too nervous to do
otherwise. And the auditioning is really stupid too, you all sing at once and
they walk around and listen out for good singers. My friend auditioned for a
production that way and got the lead part. And she is one of the worst singers I have ever heard. I was
thinking, "Have they heard you sing, by
yourself ?"
You really don't like that movie. I can't
imagine her singing more pop-ish songs (well, that's what I read it is) mainly
because her voice is so high.
Ew, Britney Spears.
I was at the mall the other day and I saw her CD and was like, "People
still pay money to listen to her?"
Nevermind all the stuff in the media and her personal life, if her music was
good it wouldn't matter. But her songs are just generic smut aimed mostly at
people who aren't even old emough to listen to music with those kinds of themes.

But you don't notice you're doing it, I imagine it's much the same with moving
your jaw to do vibrato.

It's not fair really. The
amount of actors that come out with albums that are actually not that bad (or
sometimes really good) is getting ridiculous! It's like, "Oh, they can sing
now too. What the Hell? People can practice and practice and never become that
good, this persons already a famous actor earning ridiculous amounts of money,
and now they're able to sing too! No fair." And all the women that do that
are always really pretty too.
The trailers on youtube look really good, but a lot of people have posted saying
they can't see it because of the rating. Ah well, I may have to wait for the
DVD.
Hey, have you seen/heard about the new Tim Burton adaption of "Sweeney
Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street"? It looks really good! (It's not
out here yet. ) I haven't heard any of the music before, and I haven't heard
Johnny Depp sing either, but it's got amazing reviews and awards/nominations. I
can't wait to see it.
Yeah, he was Judas. For some reason I don't mind it when they breathe loudly.
*shrugs* Judas was deranged half of the movie so that's probably why I didn't
notice.

The casting of Alan Rickman perplexed me a bit, I never thought he'd be able to
sing (at all), same thing with a few of the other actors. How did Helena Bonham
Carter sound? I've only heard her sing once, and it was the type of song it's
pretty hard to sound bad singing. Johnny
Depp was in a band once (and I know a few people who like their music) so I
imagine he isn't too bad. I'm still pretty excited about it, even if it wasn't a
musical it still looks like my kind of movie. Tim
Burton's types of movies are exactly to my taste.
I've been told to see Atonement but I
don't see stuff at the movies very often (mostly kids movies for holiday outings
or stuff I really want to see ) and it
doesn't really seem like my thing. From what I've heard it's sad too and I don't
like crying in public places.

I was like...Borat can sing?
Though nowadays you find that actors need to be able to do everything to be able to stay in the buisness.
(Which isn't fair on my opinion, having that much talent. )
Though apparently his audition was amazing, he sung through practically the
entire score of Fiddler on the Roof.
Sondheim was very impressed with Depp's audition, so I guess it's just down to
personal taste.
By the way, what's it rated where you are? I'm just hoping it won't be R16, I
won't be able to see it. It's
just 'R' in Britain (or somewhere) so I don't know how far that extends.
Wow, that was lucky! and probably quite cheap too. Most importantly, was it a
good show? I know what you mean about the clothing issue; one of my friend's
parents took her to the ballet for her birthday, except she didn't get told
where she was going so she was at this fancy show in a sweatshirt and jeans. She
was really embarrassed. In the reversed order as well, you're all dressed up walking to the theatre
and everyone else is out clubbing or something and they give you funny looks.
Seeing it spontaneously like that must have been pretty fun, going shopping and
ending up seeing it for such a good price! That would have made it all the more
enjoyable, I'd imagine. (The price especially, I know when I went to the opera
and the ticket was $114 it was quite painful. ) Hope
you had a good Christmas and New Years!

She sounds good! Her last few longer notes especially. I
suppose her voice is...well I call it 'unconventionally good', they should be
considered terrible but for some reason you love to listen to them, or a voice
that takes adapting to. One of my favourites singers is like that - Jerome
Pradon - his voice is high and squeaky and just plain weird, but for some reason he's so GOOD (and famous ). No
clue.
When I managed to get the only ticket left to see CATS I was in the farthest
corner in the back row, but it was great! I would have been able to see more
than some of the people in the very front, behind speakers and such. And I could
sit on the back of the seat and dance around a little 'cause there was no one
around me.

The trailers on youtube look really good, but a lot of people have posted saying they can't see it because of the rating. Ah well, I may have to wait for the DVD.
Hey, have you seen/heard about the new Tim Burton adaption of "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street"? It looks really good! (It's not out here yet.
) I haven't heard any of the music before, and I haven't heard
Johnny Depp sing either, but it's got amazing reviews and awards/nominations. I
can't wait to see it.
Yeah, he was Judas. For some reason I don't mind it when they breathe loudly. *shrugs* Judas was deranged half of the movie so that's probably why I didn't notice.
(Sorry for the late reply, I've been on holiday. ^^)

Tim
Burton's types of movies are exactly to my taste.
The casting of Alan Rickman perplexed me a bit, I never thought he'd be able to sing (at all), same thing with a few of the other actors. How did Helena Bonham Carter sound? I've only heard her sing once, and it was the type of song it's pretty hard to sound bad singing. Johnny Depp was in a band once (and I know a few people who like their music) so I imagine he isn't too bad. I'm still pretty excited about it, even if it wasn't a musical it still looks like my kind of movie.
I've been told to see Atonement but I don't see stuff at the movies very often (mostly kids movies for holiday outings or stuff I really want to see
) and it
doesn't really seem like my thing. From what I've heard it's sad too and I don't
like crying in public places.

Though nowadays you find that actors need to be able to do everything to be able to stay in the buisness.
(Which isn't fair on my opinion, having that much talent.
)
Though apparently his audition was amazing, he sung through practically the
entire score of Fiddler on the Roof.
Sondheim was very impressed with Depp's audition, so I guess it's just down to
personal taste.
It's
just 'R' in Britain (or somewhere) so I don't know how far that extends.
I was like...Borat can sing?
By the way, what's it rated where you are? I'm just hoping it won't be R16, I won't be able to see it.
Wow, that was lucky! and probably quite cheap too. Most importantly, was it a good show?
I know what you mean about the clothing issue; one of my friend's
parents took her to the ballet for her birthday, except she didn't get told
where she was going so she was at this fancy show in a sweatshirt and jeans. She
was really embarrassed.
In the reversed order as well, you're all dressed up walking to the theatre
and everyone else is out clubbing or something and they give you funny looks.

) Hope
you had a good Christmas and New Years!
Seeing it spontaneously like that must have been pretty fun, going shopping and ending up seeing it for such a good price! That would have made it all the more enjoyable, I'd imagine. (The price especially, I know when I went to the opera and the ticket was $114 it was quite painful.

I
suppose her voice is...well I call it 'unconventionally good', they should be
considered terrible but for some reason you love to listen to them, or a voice
that takes adapting to. One of my favourites singers is like that - Jerome
Pradon - his voice is high and squeaky and just plain weird, but for some reason he's so GOOD (and famous
). No
clue.
She sounds good! Her last few longer notes especially.
When I managed to get the only ticket left to see CATS I was in the farthest corner in the back row, but it was great! I would have been able to see more than some of the people in the very front, behind speakers and such. And I could sit on the back of the seat and dance around a little 'cause there was no one around me.
Yay! Those two are my all-time favourite couple.
The
picture on your website, of them in the corridor between their Soul Rooms with
all the pretty lights? I love the picture so much! (Hope you know which I'm
talking about!
) Do you have a bigger version of that image? I just love it!
Glad to be your friend too, and I'm looking forward to seeing some new art of yours soon!
So, hope you're well!
Take
care!
